Vaccines help protect you and those around you

Get more than one vaccine at the same time

Influenza (Flu)

Everyone 6 months and older should get a flu vaccine every season with rare exceptions. Vaccination is particularly important for people who are at higher risk of serious complications from influenza.

COVID-19

CDC recommends that everyone ages 6 months and older get an updated COVID-19 vaccine to help protect against serious illness from COVID-19.

Shingles

CDC recommends 2 doses of recombinant zoster vaccine (RZV, Shingrix) to prevent shingles and related complications in adults 50 years and older. Shingrix is also recommended for adults 19 years and older who have weakened immune systems because of disease or therapy.

Pneumonia

For adults, those 65 years or older are at increased risk. Risk continues increasing as age increases. People who have chronic (ongoing) medical conditions, such as heart disease, liver disease, lung disease, or diabetes are at increased risk for pneumonia.

Tdap

Tdap vaccine can prevent tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis. Diphtheria and pertussis spread from person to person. Tetanus enters the body through cuts or wounds.
